Print Club- Second Semester


Join us for our second semester of Print Club led by professional printmaker, Tim Laurin.

Over the course of 4 sessions, this second iteration of print club will guide us through various print traditions while providing an opportunity to connect and network with fellow printmakers and artists!

Print club will take place on the second Saturday of each month, from 1-4pm.

Session breakdown:

Session #1 - Kitchen Intaglio, April 13th

Session #2 - Chine Colle, May 11th

Session #3 - Cyanotype Photograms, June 8th

Session #4 - Screenprinting, July 13th

What does it cost?

Print club runs on a Pay What You Can model, with a suggested donation of $20 per session to cover cost of supplies. Participants will be invited to pay with cash or card on the day of the event.

Who can attend?

Printmakers of all skill levels are welcome! With decades of teaching experience, Tim is able to cater instructions to support the individual needs of each artist. From beginner-level to experienced printmakers, all are welcome. However, participants must be 16 years of age or older to attend.

Do I need to register for all 4 sessions?

No! Each session will be fully self contained, with no knowledge of the first session required for the next. Participants are invited to individually register for each session, and may attend as many as they wish.

What supplies do I need?

Participating artists are invited to bring their own supplies, and are provided with a supplies list two weeks ahead of each session. However, supplies will also be provided and may be purchased on site!

How do I register?

Registration for each session will open 2 weeks ahead of the event, at12PM EST.

For example, registration for the April 13th session will open Saturday March 30th, registration for the May 11th session will open Saturday April 27th, and so on.

There are limited spaces available, so we recommend setting a reminder !

Accessibility

  • Gallery entrance and bathroom are wheelchair accessible

  • All workshop tables will be set up to accommodate mobility aids.

  • Earplugs available on site

  • All cleaning products used at Artspace are scent free, with scent free policy in place for all volunteers and staff.

COVID-19

  • Masks are welcome and appreciated, except while eating or drinking.

  • Maker Space and Gallery equipped with Hepa filters

  • Hand sanitizer provided
