Maker Space Event - Drag Crafternoon featuring Sahira Q!

Come out and join Sahira Q as she sews a performance-worthy new pair of pants from nothing but scraps.

Feel free to follow along, bring your sewing or crafting projects to work on alongside Sahira, or drop-in to watch in the audience!

Everyone welcome! This event is open to all ages, 2SLGBTQIA+ folks and allies.

To Participate:

Participation is limited to 15 people, and registration is required! Participants are encouraged to bring whichever sewing, mending, or textile project they have on the go- heck you can even bring your own sewing machine!

Sahira will be available to offer sewing assistance and instruction, and Maker Space materials including mending and embroidery supplies, fabric, crochet and knitting needles, yarn, and more is available for participant’s use.

To Watch:

Unlimited room in the audience, and no registration is required! Drop-in at any point throughout the performance and come and go as you please! Coffee and tea provided.

Accessibility

  • Gallery entrance and bathroom are wheelchair accessible

  • All workshop tables will be set up to accommodate mobility aids.

  • Earplugs available on site

COVID-19

  • Masks are welcome and respected, volunteers and instructors will gladly wear their masks if and when needed, except while eating or drinking.

  • Maker Space and Gallery equipped with a Hepa filter

  • Hand sanitizer provided.
