Book + Zine Fest: PoetrySpace

PoetrySpace is a special live poetry reading event, taking place in the Artspace Annex*

For the Poets:

Bring your chapbook, zine, broadside, or poem-on-the-page, and sign up as a volunteer for this open-mic-style event on Friday, March 1

Each poet will have two 7-minute sets, during which you are invited to read any number or combination of poems from your collection.

The first sets will run from 6-7:30 pm, followed by a short break. At 8PM we will start the performances again.

Please note this is a volunteer opportunity to read your poems aloud.

*The Annex is Artspace’s up-and-coming community-rentable gallery space. Please stay tuned for more information about how you can create your own pop-up exhibitions and performances in this new space.

For the Audience:

Join PoetrySpace Host Janette Platana for a spectacular evening of poetry reading and performance.

Entry to the audience is free, and open to all ages. Drop by PoetrySpace after checking out Book + Zine Fest. Stay for one poem, or bring your tea, grab a seat, and stay for the whole evening.

Where?

*The Artspace Annex shares an address with Artspace, and is located right down the hall from Gallery 2. Please note this part of the building is not yet fully accessible.
