Join us for our first ever BIPOC Gallery Day at Artspace!
Saturday, April 20th from 1-4pm.
BIPOC Gallery Day provides a platform for the BIPOC community to come together, fostering new connections and relationships among artists, art enthusiasts, and supporters. This sense of community is essential for mutual support, collaboration, and the growth of a diverse artistic community.
During this time, our gallery and Maker Space will be operating as normal, but will be reserved for BIPOC community members, who are invited to come out, have a cup of tea or coffee, view our current exhibition, and learn about the Maker Space.
PLEASE NOTE: We want to make it clear that all attendees will be welcomed without question or judgement on their identity. We are committed to creating a safe and inclusive space where individuals can express themselves freely and authentically.

How will you determine who is BIPOC?
We believe in creating an inclusive and respectful environment where individuals are trusted to self-identify. We will not be determining or questioning anyone's identity as BIPOC. Our focus is on creating a welcoming space for BIPOC community members.

Going forward, we are excited to announce that BIPOC Gallery days will be a regular feature of our programming, and we will strive for them to take place a minimum of once per exhibition period.
