50/50

The 50/50 is Artspace’s party of the year, and is your chance to take home some great art made by Artspace’s incredible community members!

This year’s event is taking place IN PERSON, and includes the traditional 50/50 draw, raffle and door prizes, fantastic food and drink, live entertainment, and more perks in the works!

So how does it work?

Leading up to the big event on June 3, Artists submit works of art valued at $100 or more to be included in a draw, and draw tickets are sold for $100. On the night of the event, ticket holders wait with bated breath for their numbers to be called. When their number is called, they select a work of art. It gets taken down and wrapped up then and there, to be taken home.

For each piece of artwork that is selected by a ticket holder, the artist receives $50, and Artspace receives $50. If artworks are not selected by a ticket holder, but instead are purchased in the post-draw "fire sale" for $80 in the first round, or $60 in the second round, the artist receives half of that amount - $40 or $30 respectively.

The event is a total laugh. A riot. A must experience!

Public Preview
All art works submitted to the 50/50 will be on display at the gallery, to view during open hours from Thursday, May 25 - June 3, 2023.

Doors open at 7pm, auction starts at 8pm sharp! Food, drink, and art, June 3rd 2023.

ONLINE TICKET SALES ARE NOW CLOSED…but we will have a few tickets available at the door if you’re interested.
